Synopsis
In the quiet lull of a suburban library, library worker Daniel catalogs a strange assortment of forgotten objects left in returned books—and daydreams of the stories they tell. Based on the poem by Sam Treviño.

Director's Bio
Kayla Abuda Galang is a filmmaker based in Austin, Texas, drawing from the humor and details of her communities, surroundings, memory, and the television that raised her. Her short film When You Left Me On That Boulevard won the Short Film Grand Jury Prize at the 2023 Sundance Film Festival. She was named one of Filmmaker Magazine’s “25 New Faces of Independent Film,” received the Aning Dangal award from the National Commission for Culture and Arts of the Philippines, and joined the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences as a voting member in the Short Films Branch. She is currently developing her first feature film and works as a video producer and editor at the University of Texas.
Kayla Abuda Galang es una cineasta radicada en Austin, Texas, que se inspira en el humor y los detalles de sus comunidades, su entorno, su memoria y la televisión que la formó. Su cortometraje When You Left Me On That Boulevard ganó el Gran Premio del Jurado de Cortometraje en el Festival de Cine de Sundance 2023. Fue nombrada una de las “25 Nuevas Caras del Cine Independiente” por Filmmaker Magazine, recibió el premio Aning Dangal de la Comisión Nacional para la Cultura y las Artes de Filipinas, y se unió a la Academia de Artes y Ciencias Cinematográficas como miembro votante en la rama de Cortometrajes.
