Augusto is a filmmaker with a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of Utah. With his first full-length project, Hakuchu Munayta, in 2018 he won the Ministry of Culture fund in Peru. In 2020 he won the DFP Sundance fund. In 2022, he entered the WIP Chile Conecta, earning two awards.
