Through an empathetic register, we follow the story of Iván, Yamila and Luz, the Bilbaos, a fractured family marked by absence, and the gestures, frictions and unique moments around them. Their bond doesn’t come just from a prison past but from the violence and marginalization in which they grew up.

His first short film, Peregrinación, premiered at BAFICI. Rancho, his first documentary feature film, was selected at Berlinale Talents, winner of Best First Film at BAFICI 2021, and invited to Sheffield Doc/Fest international competition, Guadalajara Film Festival, Valladolid Film Festival and others. The Bilbaos, currently in post-production, won the INCAA Incubator award. It was selected at Ibero-America Meeting of Emerging Filmmakers, at Guadalajara DocuLab and at Mar del Plata International Festival WIP.
